LISTENING WITH THE EAR OF THE HEART

“What are you looking for?” John 1:3

God, my God, with You it is always the same thing! Always the same question that nobody knows how to answer! While I am asking questions that You do not answer, You ask me a question that is so simple that I cannot answer it. I do not even understand the question.

Why I Donate

Dear Companions on the way of meditation,

I'm writing out of the love that has grown in me for our online morning meditation community. I'm writing to ask you to consider joining me in providing some financial support for the World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM). WCCM, in simple terms, enables our group to gather by providing the Zoom account and link for our morning gatherings. But there's more -- much more really.

Our online morning meditation group grew out of a morning group that met M-F at 7:00 am at the WCCM Neptune Beach Center in Neptune Beach, Florida. The Neptune Beach Center is the 'physical' home of WCCM-USA and has been in existence for 15 years. When COVID struck and the Center ceased in-person meetings attended by people who lived locally, it wasn't too long before our online group began meeting via Zoom.

What has evolved is an international morning group at a slightly later time every morning M-F.Our group has become for me my 'home' in cyberspace. But I'm aware that access to this cyberspace is a gift via the Zoom account and services provided by WCCM-USA and WCCM-International.

Contributions to WCCM-USA support the Center, the national work of WCCM, and enable WCCM-USA to, in turn, support WCCM-International. The WCCM Neptune Beach Center is an all-volunteer operation. We have an Executive Director and an Advisory Board all of whom serve without compensation.

Please consider making a contribution from time to time to support the Center and the larger WCCM-USA and International communities. WCCM-USA is an exempt organization and your contributions are tax-deductible (or can be made from your IRA account as a Qualified Charitable Donation). Any amount is appreciated and will help WCCM be a force to bring contemplative awareness and practice to a busy world that seems to have forgotten about silence.

If you are able to send what amounts to $5/month, WCCM would be most grateful, and you would have the gift of knowing you're helping 'keep the lights on' and the internet connection alive for all of us.

Thank you for being part of our community and know you are welcomed and cherished regardless of your financial support.

Namaste,

Robert
